John Ryan
John Ryan has died. BBC news report here and Daily Telegraph obituary here. Will Cardinal Grotti attend the funeral?
I was only thinking about him last week. I saw a copy of an "Eagle" collection of comic strips. Unfortunately someone got there before me (Garden Party). I remarked that it reminded me of my childhood. I remember Ryan's character, "Harris Tweed", the bumbling detective.
