The session would have formed part of this year's 60+ festival in the city.I wonder whether Portsmouth council gave any real thought as to whether or not their over-60's population wanted a "safe sex" class before arranging it? Or did they just try to push an agenda onto the over-60's that had little relevance to their genuine needs?
It was advertised as a "frank, fun and factual" event "designed to inform older residents about the truth of sex in later years".
The council said proof of age and Portsmouth residency would have been required by those attending.
Should we laugh or should we cry?
