Clare Short MP - invitation withdrawn

Catholic and Loving it has posted on the outcome of the invitation extended to Clare Short to present the prizes at St Paul's Catholic School for Girls. This is the report of the withdrawal of Clare Short's invitation on the website of the Birmingham Mail newspaper.

My own reflection on this invitation can be found here.

Well done Jackie Parkes for all the effort you put in which made the school withdraw the invite to Clare Short- have those who slammed the door in your face at the convent apologized?

Better still why not ask Jackie Parkes to give out the prizes!

As an ex pupil of St Paul's i am glad that the parent still hold the same value as when Sister Agnes was head of the school. I say well done Jakie, Claire Short should never have been invited to the school she is not something we can be proud off. She has no respect for anything, and given that it is a catholic school she should have acepted that she was asked to stand down, rather than slate one of the best schools in Birmingham.
