Our parish priest was away for part of the last week, in the Netherlands.
Somehow, I don't think he was here. Visit here too, to find out about about the hermitage at Warfhuizen. Go here to see some photographs of the night time Eucharistic Adoration - in the "chapel tent" at the camp site.
I do think it would have been more in the spirit of the Bootcamp for Fr Tim to have been sleeping under canvas ......

Nah, I think letting Fr. Tim stay in the Hermitage with Br. Hugo was the kindest thing to do. I wouldn't have wanted to inflict the lads' tent on a man of God....
We could have put him in the tent... but he would have been eaten by all the mosquitos. (And apparently some of the guys snored, too...)
I heard a homily this Sunday which pointed out that Saints and Blesseds always seem to have a touch of suffering in their lives ... Perhaps you deprived Fr Tim of an opportunity ....
